Orlando Bowen

When it comes to building teams, creating momentum, and employing winning strategies, Orlando Bowen is the real deal. A former professional football player and now high-performance coach, for the past fifteen years Bowen has used storytelling, fitness activities, and cognitive exercises to teach resilience, leadership, and teamwork to over 300,000 people. Empowering others to overcome adversity, to find their passion, and to use their gifts is Bowen’s lifelong goal. This mission has placed him on hundreds of stages and boardrooms throughout North America, while also garnering him many awards.

ALEX LUKACHKO

Alex Lukachko is a Building Science consultant and educator. Alex teaches the integration of energy, building science and design concepts in the architecture programs at the University of Toronto. He has active research interests in the development of future building enclosure systems and the design of high performance, low environmental impact buildings. In particular, he is interested in the link between architectural design and quality assurance that ensures high building performance. These interests are part of a long-term pursuit of effective (and measurable) sustainable building practices.

 

ramsey LEUNG

Ramsey Leung is an architect, researcher, and writer whose work explores architecture as a relational practice - situated between care and infrastructure, material systems and ecologies, and publics and common worlds. His work is informed by long-standing engagement with healthcare environments, urban systems, and lived experience with caregiving, developed through design research, writing, and public engagement. He works across architectural and interdisciplinary contexts, contributing to projects spanning healthcare, urbanism, and material systems.

As head of communications for SMT, Caitlin has immersed herself in the world of building enclosure monitoring. A strong advocate for women in the construction industry, Caitlin practices what she preaches by spending time on site, leading education sessions for construction professionals. As she mastered the art of translating technical information into easily digestible content, Caitlin has been particularly passionate about the intersection of the building industry and sustainability.

 

andrew guida

Andrew Guida has over a decade of experience working with decorative concrete products and installations. He began his career in the field, developing a strong understanding of installation methods and product performance, and later progressed into project management and coordination roles overseeing public and private projects from planning through completion. His experience includes product implementation, specification support, and delivering educational seminars for landscape architects, municipalities, planners, and other industry professionals, as well as involvement in decorative concrete manufacturing and global distribution, supporting quality control and international market development.
